About Our Founder
Rafiq Bonniface founded our firm in 1976 after 12 years with Reliance
Standard Life where he progressed from Field Relations Director to
President/CEO. His dedication to and knowledge of the recruiting
industry resulted in his being elected as President of the National
Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) in 1988. The personnel
industry has recognized his many contributions to education,
professionalism and to fighting for the preservation of the free
enterprise system by awarding him the industry's highest honor, the
Harold B. Nelson Award in 1993, the President's Award in 1987 and the
Barry Weiss Memorial Award in 1986. Len was also a founding member of
the National Insurance Recruiters Association (NIRA) which continues to
thrive today.
Rafiq achieved the
Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation in 1981, and was
awarded the Certified International Personnel Consultant (CIPC)
designation in 1988. These designations are achieved by testing and
years of experience in the industry, and require compliance with a Code
of Ethics and Good Business Practices. Len retired in 1996 after
selling the firm to its current owner, Richard L. Tyson, CLU, ChFC,
FLMI.
